Competition Cheer Available to athletes 5-18



North Fork Cheer Competitive Teams have the opportunity to compete alongside other teams from across Long Island to those across the country. Athletes perform a competition cheerleading routine that combines stunts, tumbling, and dance.  These athletes practice 4- 6 hours per week starting in July and continuing through the competition season and ending in June. Athletes will compete one to three times per month from March-May at local competitions and competitions that require travel on weekends.  


Meet our staff!


Coach Lauren and Coach Stephanie - Owners of North Fork Cheer! Lauren and Stephanie started North Fork Cheer in 2013 with the intent to create a youth CYO program for young athletes on the North Fork to explore, develop and fall in love with the sport of cheerleading!! This plan soon blossomed into an allstar competitive program with numerous National titles. With over 25 years of coaching experience, Lauren and Stephanie have coached in all aspects of the field. In traditional cheerleading they have covered all level ranging from youth CYO, middle school, JV, Varsity and College and in allstar cheer levels ranging from mini novice to Senior level 5. Creating team choreography and overseeing all competitive teams Lauren and Stephanie are active coaches within the program. Striving to create a program with a strong family bond they encourage athletes to remember the program motto "anything is possible through hard work and commitment and together we rise!"


Coach Kaitlyn- Our head coach for teams as well as the curriculum buider & deisgner of our ninja as well as strength & conditioning classes, Coach Kaitlyn is a graduate of Sacred Heart University.  Having cheered at the National Championship Team during her years at Sacred Heart, Coach Kaitlyn brings experience in cheerleading, and tumbling.  Kaitlyn's background in physical therapy makes her our go to coach for all things based in making our athletes stronger.  With over 8 years experience in coaching youth to high school cheerleading, Coach Kaitlyn brings her sense of passion and drive for the sport to our North Fork Cheer Family.

Coach Brittany - Our tumbling coach and head coach for teams. Brittany received her Bachelors degree in Exercise Science and Kinesiology from Manhattan College. Brittany has been teaching dance since 2010, and in her 8 years has become an award winning choreographer. Brittany's dancers have taken home numerous Overall High Score Awards, Special Awards and Brittany has even received choreography awards at numerous competitions around the USA. Brittany is currently the head coach at Our Lady of the Hampton cheerleading team which she started in 2013. The team has won numerous awards, and continues to improve each year. Brittany combines her love of cheer, dance, fitness, health, education, and mindfulness in her teaching practices with all of her students. She makes sure that her students aren't just walking through the motions , but also understanding their bodies and how to utilize their skill to the fullest extent. Brittany looks forward to sharing her love of fitness education, and the science of how to enhance the body's performance with all of the athletes she has the pleasure of working with at North Fork Cheer.

Coach Chelsea - Our head coach for teams as well as head coach for our competitive stunt teams. Chelsea is two time UCA high school Nationals finalist. A staff member with UCA and has been coaching at North Fork Cheer for years. Chelsea was a level 3 team athlete at North Fork Cheer when she began her junior coaching career, which then led to her head coaching position. She has been a cheerleader since the age of 7 and admires coaching as it provides her the ability to work with athletes that have the same passion for cheerleading that has become such a large part of her. 

Junior Coaches:

Reanna - Our junior coach for our level 2 team. Reanna is a part of the Riverhead Varsity Cheerleading team and has competed in multiple UCA high school national competitions finishing in 15th and 14th place in the nation!! Reanna has also been a part of North Fork Cheer as an athletes for many years. She has grown into a skilled tumbler and an extremely talented flyer for our level 3 team as well as won first place and multiple individual competitions. Reanna uses her tumbling and flying expertise to lead support and guidance to younger athletes as a junior coach. 

Hannah - Our youth team junior coach. Hannah has been a part of North Fork Cheer as a level 2 and level 3 athletes since the program has began. Hannah has been come a skillful tumbler and a talented base and back spot for her teams. Hannah is a part of the Southold High School cheerleading that competes in multiple Section XI competitions throughout the fall season and participates in multiple other sports as well including field hockey and lacrosse. Hannah has used her experiences to help create a strong learning environment for the athletes she assists on the mat and sidelines.
