Owners:
Coach Lauren and Coach Stephanie - Owners of North Fork Cheer! Lauren and Stephanie started North Fork Cheer in 2013 with the intent to create a youth CYO program for young athletes on the North Fork to explore, develop and fall in love with the sport of cheerleading!! This plan soon blossomed into an allstar competitive program with numerous National titles. With over 25 years of coaching experience, Lauren and Stephanie have coached in all aspects of the field. In traditional cheerleading they have covered all level ranging from youth CYO, middle school, JV, Varsity and College and in allstar cheer levels ranging from mini novice to Senior level 5. Creating team choreography and overseeing all competitive teams Lauren and Stephanie are active coaches within the program. Striving to create a program with a strong family bond they encourage athletes to remember the program motto "anything is possible through hard work and commitment and together we rise!"
Coaches:

Coach Chelsea - Chelsea brings over 10 years of coaching experience to North Fork Cheer, where she excels as the All-Star Director and Program Choreographer. Known for her exceptional ability to inspire and develop athletes, Chelsea is dedicated to continuously expanding her knowledge by mastering new techniques and skills. Her passion for cheerleading and commitment to excellence shine through in her work with our competitive teams and tumbling athletes. Chelsea is also a high school coach and a mentor to youth cheer programs in nearby towns, helping them grow and become more competitive. Through her mentorship, she helps these programs embrace the North Fork Cheer mission of building strength, reaching goals, and leading by inspiring others. Chelsea’s leadership and expertise make her a driving force at North Fork Cheer.
Coach Melissa - Our tumbling and team coach, feels that this program has given her the best community, relationships, support and love. Cheering with Riverhead cheerleading and North Fork Cheer has, she believes, made into who she is today and she so excited to give back to the program who has built her! Melissa was a Division 1 cheerleader at The University Of West Georgia and has won four National Championships throughout her journey with the Wolves. She was also a part of the U.S. National team in 2021 and 2022 and received the silver medal at the ICU World Championships. Melissa is also a NCA College Nationals All-Girl Stunt Champion. Melissa is a powerhouse in the cheerleading world and an invaluable asset to North Fork Cheer and brings her elite skills and a deep love for the sport to every class & practice, fostering both personal growth and championship-level performance in our athletes.

Coach Alexa - Alexa has over 20 years of cheerleading experience and 12 years of coaching expertise. She has coached athletes of all ages, from youth through varsity and is currently the head coach for Westhampton Beach Varsity Cheerleading. Alexa's favorite part of cheerleading is stunting, and she loves working on spinning skills of all kinds. She is working with level 2 tumblers, stunt classes and our senior elite team. Outside the gym, Alexa enjoys the beach, reading and spending time with her two dogs Charlotte and Chloe. Alexa is passionate about how cheerleading brings communities together and can't wait to share her passion with the North Fork.
Coach Kaitlyn- Kaitlyn has over 20 year of cheerleading experience. She began her cheerleading journey at the age of 5 and continued all the way through her senior year with Riverhead varsity. Kaitlyn was a member of the first Riverhead varsity team to ever advance to semifinals at UCA Nationals her junior year and senior year. She was an original member of the very first competitve team at North Fork Cheer where she competed and won numerous high ranking National titles. Kaitlyn continued on to Sacred Heart University where she competed on the D1 cheer team not only as a main base but also a flyer. She continued coaching with us until Covid hit then took to zoom and ran multiple strength and conditioning classes a day. Kaitlyn went on to earn doctorate in physical therapy from NYIT. Now, Dr. Coach Kaitlyn works with our athletes providing them with strength and conditioning exercises to not only acquire new skills but to help them prevent injury.
